Reasonable Suspicion Training
2 Hour Live Class
LEAD Impairment Training offers a DOT compliant Reasonable Suspicion class that focuses on the information required for supervisors, department leads, safety team members and company owners to properly safeguard their company from liability.
Substance abuse is a direct threat to workplace safety, and the transportation industry is among the most vulnerable. In addition to being required by federal law, this course will give your supervisors the tools to properly identify, articulate and report suspicious behaviors.
LEAD Impairment Training focuses on not only the impairment related behaviors but the warning signs of chemical abuse. By recognizing these symptoms early, intervention can take place avoiding any workplace incident altogether.
The 2-hour class is hosted by active and/or retired Law Enforcement Officers who have specialized in the field of impairment classification. All Instructors have received training to the highest degree offered by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). Learn the skills that are actively employed by Law Enforcement daily.
This is a residential class where you will receive high quality classroom based training, a detailed manual with the LEADit Reasonable Suspicion checklist and a laminated matrix card for easy identification of impaired behaviors.

All Instructors have received training to the highest degree offered by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). Learn the skills that are actively employed by Law Enforcement daily.
This is a residential class where you will receive high quality classroom based training, a detailed manual with the LEADit Reasonable Suspicion checklist and a laminated matrix card for easy identification of impaired behaviors.
In addition to the Basic 2-hr Class, the Advanced class will focus on actual techniques to help you isolate the type of impairing chemical. Students will learn about Pupil Size Estimations, Nystagmus, Lack of Convergence and other simple observations. These are a tremendous tool used daily in the determination of certain types of drugs. Students will learn how to complete the LEADit RS Eye Examination Checklist as part of the documentation process. Students are provided with a Situation Response section that will empower them to take their learning to the employees. Topics and methods for dissemination will be provided and discussed.
Successful completion of the two-part testing process is required for certification issuance.
NHTSA Advanced Roadside Impaired Driving Enforcement
16 Hour Program
The Advanced Roadside Impaired Driving Enforcement School is a 16 hour program that is intended to bridge the gap between basic Standardized Field Sobriety Tests (SFST) training and Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) by providing officers with general knowledge related to drug impairment and promoting the use of DREs in states that have the Drug Evaluation and Classification (DEC) Program.
One of the most significant aspects of ARIDE is its review and required student demonstration of the SFST proficiency requirements. The ARIDE program also stresses the importance of securing the most appropriate biological sample in order to identify substances likely causing impairment. The ARIDE class will provide the student with the tools and skills necessary to successfully detect, deter and prosecute the drug impaired driver.
This program is only available to Law Enforcement Officers.
NHTSA SFST Instructor School
40 Hour Program
The NHTSA Standardized Field Sobriety Tests (SFST) Instructor School is a 40 hour program that is intended to prepare you to properly teach the SFTSs and effectively motivate your students. This four day class will focus on the following:

NHTSA RADAR/LIDAR Instructor School
40 Hour Program
The RADAR/LIDAR Instructor School is a 40-hour program that will enable successfully graduating instructor candidates a certified ability to develop, refresh and implement basic RADAR/LIDAR Operator Training at their agency. This rigorous class develops instructor candidates through high academic standards, performance exercises and exceeds all National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) standards for Police Traffic RADAR & LIDAR Instructor Certification. In addition to covering how to instructor the basic requirements necessary in the RADAR/LIDAR Operator classes, this program expands comprehension and practical application by introducing advance lessons and exercises encompassing the latest proven knowledge around agency training management, best practices for speed measurement programs, social considerations, impact focused implementation and performance science both in and out of the classroom.

The Cannabis Culture
1 Hour Speaking Engagement
Learn how the legalization of Cannabis has changed drug use nationally. Learn about the Cannabis plant, the methods of use and dangers associated with each form. Review the characteristics of impairment, ingestion and duration of this powerful plant.

Marijuana and Designer Drugs

Learn about Cannabis, Synthetic THC drugs and other Synthetic Drugs of Abuse. Cannabis, K2/Spice, Cathinone and ‘Bath Salts’ will be discussed.

Navigating Modern Drug Use in the Workplace
1 Hour Speaking Engagement
Learn how to protect your company, your employees and your financial future from the dangerous use of drugs. Study about the frequency, the societal changes and the availability of drugs will affect your company without a robust drug policy. Learn about testing methods and other proactive ways to prevent workplace drug use.

Distracted Driving
1 Hour Speaking Engagement
Learn about the hazards and dangers of Distracted Driving. Receive information on how the body and the brain react to common distractions in the vehicle which can lead to crashes. Students are provided with several suggestions to improve their safety while driving. App based solutions will be discussed to discourage/prevent texting while operating a motor vehicle.
